I used to played golf for a lot of years…it was my life and my passion and I even dreamed of being a pro golfer. Then reality set in and I realized how hard it is to make a decent living playing professional golf. There are so many great golfers who never make it which is the common case in all professional sports. I’ve made a decent career in my second job choice (marketing) but I’ve had the opportunity to help a number of friends play better by teaching them simple swing explanations and improving their fundamentals using various golf swing training aids. Having studied the golf swing inside and out I’ve realized that people make the swing way more complicated than it really is. Don’t get me wrong, golf is one of the hardest sports you’ll ever play, but it doesn’t have to be so complicated where you think about 10 million swing thoughts and paralyze yourself.
One of the most effective swing training aids I’ve come across is the Medicus golf training aid. It has a hinged shaft that breaks when you swing the club the wrong way. The best part about this training aid is you can hit real golf balls while you practice. The Medicus forces you to make a correct swing hitting an actual shot. I’ve used this club recently while helping my friends’ golf games and witnessed them making much improved swings. Shanks turned into shots that flew high into the air, banana slices turned in hard fades, and they all hit for more power. If you’re having problems with your swing, you should definitely try the Medicus.
